Based on the conviction that sustainable behaviour secures the future of our children, we see it as our duty to think and act ecologically. For example, we rely on extensively greened roofs on our building, decentralised energy generation with our combined heat and power plant, the use of solar energy through photovoltaics and the promotion of electromobility.
Our environmental protection endeavours in detail:

• Since 2005, we have been operating our own combined heat and power plant, which ensures optimum energy efficiency through combined heat and power generation. See also www.senertec.de
• We operate a photovoltaic system on our roof
• we use our own energy management system
• all rooms are equipped with energy-saving devices
• only energy-saving and LED lamps are used throughout the restaurant and hotel
• Since 2022 we have been providing our guests with two fast charging stations, each with 22kW power, for their electric vehicle
• Bicycle garage with 8 charging points for e-bikes
• By using raw materials from the region, we help to avoid long transport routes, which reduces daily CO2 emissions
• Waste avoidance, waste separation, reusable bottles and the use of environmentally friendly cleaning agents and disinfectants are a matter of course in our hotel.
